Warming is second winner for Global Campaign

First-crop 2-year-old filly Warming became the second winner for her sire, Global Campaign, when she
won a maiden special weight on June 21 during the Belmont At the Big A meet.
Ridden by Manual Franco, Warming chased just off the inside early. She swung three wide in the upper
stretch of the six-furlong turf event, rallied to take command near the eighth pole, and edged clear late
to score by 2 ¼ lengths. The chestnut filly stopped the clock in 1:09.78.
Owned by Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners and trained by Graham Motion, Warming was bred in
Kentucky by M. Auerbach LLC. She is produced from the Unusual Heat mare Haute Style, a full sister to
multiple stakes winner Lennyfromalibu and to stakes winner Heat Du Jour. Warming was a $100,000
acquisition by her owner at this year’s OBS March Sale where she sold in the consignment of Blue
Sapphire Stables after breezing an eighth in :10 1/5 at the under tack preview.
Global Campaign is a Grade 1 winner by two-time Horse of the Year Curlin out of the late A.P. Indy mare
Globe Trot. Winner of the historic Woodward H. (G1) and a half-brother to Grade 1 winner and leading
sire Bolt d’Oro, Global Campaign has been represented by first 2-year-olds in the auction ring up to
$650,00, $350,000, and $250,000 this year. He stands for $12,500 S&N.
