Fed Biz’s unbeaten 2-year-old Mind Your Own Biz won Saturday’s $50,000 Jim Edgar Memorial S. in gate-to-wire fashion by 2 3/4-lengths for his first stakes victory (VIDEO).
The winner is owned by his breeder Richard Ravin, along with Patricia’s Hope LLC. The chestnut juvenile won his first starts, also at Hawthorne, on Nov. 22.
Fed Biz now has five stakes winners and 10 stakes horses this year, both numbers tied for the top spot among Second-Crop sires.
Mind Your Own Biz set all the fractions and really never got a serious test at any point of Saturday’s 6 1/2-furlong contest, which he finished in 1:19.15.
