Super Saver gets 4th SW from first crop

Lil Super Bear became Super Saver’s fourth stakes winner from his stellar first crop of runners on Oct. 14 with a handy 5 ½-length score in the $55,000 Permian Basin S. at Zia Park (VIDEO).

The WinStar-bred 2-year-old filly is now 2-for-3 lifetime and has helped push Super Saver’s progeny earnings over the $1 million mark, the only First-crop sire to have that distinction. He also leads in the categories of stakes horses (6) and graded stakes winners (2), and is co-leader with four stakes winners.

Lil Super Bear is out of the Formal Dinner mare Coli Bear, a three-time stakes winner of $474,362.
