Door Buster made her stakes debut a winning one Saturday night at Charles Town Races with a 1 1/4-length victory in the $75,000 Its Binn Too Long S. (WATCH RACE)
The 3-year-old Speightster filly was four lengths from the front with a furlong to run, but uncorked a big rally to get up in the final 50 yards of the 4 1/2-furlong contest.
Door Buster, who had broke her maiden in her previous start, is 2-2-1 in six outings for owner Jay Reese. She was bred by Catherine Jennings and Scott Mallory and is out of the stakes-placed mare Miss Henny Penny.
Door Buster is the fifth career stakes winner for top-10 Second-Crop sire Speightster. The graded stakes-winning son of Speightstown stands at WinStar Farm for $10,000 S&N.
