Lady Abigail led every step of the way in her Sept. 3 maiden special weight victory going 5 1/2-furlongs at Remington Park, giving Revolutionary his latest first-crop winner.
A Cisper Racing homebred, Lady Abigail got plenty of pressure in the first three furlongs, then put away Asaka to open up by a couple lengths in mid-stretch, then repelled Sherry Babe late to win by a neck (VIDEO).
The second foal out of Le Grand Fromage, Lady Abigail is from the immediate family of graded stakes winners Dance Parade and Ocean Queen.
Revolutionary, whose first winner Maiden Beauty scored in the $100,000 Lynbrook S. at Belmont Park, bred an average of 105 mares his first three seasons at stud. His 2019 fee at WinStar has yet to be announced.
