Piedi Bianchi could cap an incredible year for Overanalyze if the multiple Grade 1-placed filly captures the $2 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) on Saturday at Del Mar.
Though the gray filly has just one win in four starts, she has performed exceedingly well each time, and placed in both the Chandelier (G1) and Del Mar Debutante (G1) after the maiden victory.
Trained by Doug O’Neill, Piedi Bianchi drew post 8 in the field of 13 going 1 1/16-miles. Post time is 3:00 p.m. ET in what is the first Breeders’ Cup race on Saturday’s card.
Overanalyze’s first crop has been nothing short of brilliant. His 22 winners is fiver more than any other first-year sire, while his progeny earnings of $1,351,849 is more than $460,000 ahead of his nearest pursuer. He also tops the list by stakes winners (4), and is second by stakes horses (6).
Overanalyze will stand the 2018 season at WinStar for a fee of $15,000 stands and nurses.
