Baytown Juliet’s maiden win Dec. 3 at Los Alamitos marked the 26th winner this year for leading First-Crop sire Overanalyze, surpassing fellow WinStar juvenile champion stallion Congrats, who had 25 from his first crop of runners.
Baytown Juliet’s victory was well-earned, coming by a head in a four-horse photo that saw the quartet separated by less than a length on the wire.
The winner was bred by Mark White and is owned by her trainer Kenneth Nettles.
Overanalyze’s 26 winners include four stakes winners as well as the graded stakes-placed pair Piedi Bianchi (G1 Del Mar Debutante and Chandelier S.) and Psychoanalyze (G3 Sanford S.). After breeding 120 mares in 2017, Overanalyze’s fee in 2018 will be $15,000 stands and nurses.
