Suzette became Overanalyze’s first multiple stakes winner from his freshman crop on Saturday when the 2-year-old filly sped to a 3 1/2-length win in the $60,000 Freedom of the City S.
As she did in her 14 1/4-length blowout win in the Bird of Pay S. on Sept. 1, Suzette went right to the front in Saturday’s seven-furlong contest and was never really challenged after the first quarter mile, winning in hand as the heavy favorite.
The chestnut filly owned by Brad Augur and Don Danard, has now won three of her four starts. She was bred in Kentucky by 3480 Equine LLC.
Overanalyze is far and away the leading First-Crop sire of 2017, with 23 winners and more than $1.3 million in progeny earnings to date. His four black type winners are also more than any first-year sire. His 2018 fee was recently announced at $15,000 stands and nurses.
