Saints’ Girl, making her second lifetime start, blasted to a 13 1/4-length maiden special weight score Jan. 28 at Fair Grounds.
The 3-year-old Overanalyze filly decimated her competition with an explosive stretch kick, increasing her margin some ten lengths in just the final furlong.
Owned by West Point Thoroughbreds and trained by Dallas Stewart, Saints’ Girl was bred by 4M Ranch. She is the first foal out of Happy Destiny, a daughter of multiple graded stakes winner Dance o’My Life, and sold to West Point for $170,000 at the 2017 OBS March Sale of 2-year-olds.
After finishing 2017 as the #1 First-Crop Sire with 26 winners and four stakes winners, Overanalyze already has two stakes horses in the first month of this year.
