Let’s Workout got his debut win in a Sept. 1 maiden special weight to give his sire Outwork a total of six winners from his first crop, which is the third-most for any freshman sire.
Outwork’s runners have really shone of late, with five of his winners coming in the past two weeks at distances from 4 1/2-furlongs to a mile.
Let’s Workout won the six-furlong affair by a neck over Miss Comedian, coming from just off the pace to wrest the lead in the final furlong.
The winner races for E. V. Racing Stable and was bred by Saratoga Glen Farm LLC. He is the first foal out of Light the Causeway, who has a pair of stakes-winning siblings.
