Out First’s eye-catching move in the Aqueduct stretch carried the 2-year-old Outwork filly to a seven-length maiden special weight victory Saturday, making her the 16th First-Crop winner for her sire.
Outwork is in the top five on this year’s First-Crop sire list in several categories, including winners, wins, progeny earnings and stakes winners.
Out First stalked the pace down the backstretch and on the turn, then blew by the early leaders in upper stretch and won going away on the sloppy Aqueduct surface (VIDEO).
The winner is owned by Anthony M. Perri and was bred by CJC Racing LLC.
