Outadore drew clear in the final sixteenth of a mile to break his maiden first time out on Sunday over the lawn at Saratoga. The 2-year-old Outwork colt is the second winner for his #2 ranked First-Crop sire, whose first winner Garoppolo won a Belmont maiden special weight on the main track.
Outadore officially crossed the wire 2 3/4-lengths ahead of Mad Maddy in the 5 1/2-furlong contest, coming from second place to take the lead in mid-stretch before pulling clear late.
The winner is owned by Breeze Easy LLC and was bred in Kentucky by Deann and Greg Baer.
Out of the Tactical Cat mare Adore You, Outadore is a half-brother to multiple stakes winner Pied Bianchi as well as stakes winner Mind Reader.
