A lovely daughter of More Than Ready achieved the highest price for a filly on Day One of the OBS Spring Sale, selling for $250,000 midway through the session.
From the same family as More Than Ready’s multiple Graded stakes-winning daughter Ready’s Gal ($609,959), Hip 157 posted a work of :10.2 at the April 13th breeze show before selling on Tuesday to Jacob L. West, agent.
The dark bay/brown miss is the first foal out of 7 1/2-furlong record-setter Morekissesforpatti, by Unbridled’s Song. Her second dam is a full sister to dual Classic and Champion Hansel. Bred in Kentucky by Jerry Jamgotchian, she was consigned to OBS by Mayberry Farm, agent.
