Pioneerof the Nile’s Keeneland September Yearling sale results on Tuesday kept his momentum from Monday’s opening day going, with four six-figure youngsters bringing at least $340,000.
Topping the session for the WinStar stallion was a filly consigned by Lane’s End, agent. Hip No. 196 went to Alex and JoAnn Lieblong and Three Chimneys Farm for $500,000. The filly is a half-sister to Travers S. (G1) winner Afleet Express and Super Saver’s Alabama S. (G1) winner Embellish the Lace.
Taylor Made Sales Agency consigned hip No. 324, a filly that went to Don Robinson, agent for $375,000. She is the second foal out of stakes winner Holy Heavens, who is a half-sister to Fall Highweight (G3) winner Heaven’s Runway.
Pioneerof the Nile has 36 lots remaining in the 12-day sale, which runs through Sept. 23.
