Rose to Fame fought off all challengers to win her debut Wednesday at Gulfstream Park, taking the 4 1/2-furlong contest by a length over a sloppy racetrack.
The 2-year-old filly is Gemologist’s 21st winner of 2017, joining the likes Martha Washington S. (G3) winner Golden Diamond and the stakes-placed colts Aquamarine and Gemologister.
Rose to Fame is owned by Sano Racing Stables and was bred by Lisa Reynolds and Jennifer Feiner. The winner is from the same family as Hall of Famer Serena’s Song.
