First-crop sire Fed Biz had another strong sales showing during the first day of the May 21-22 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-year-olds in Training Sale on Monday when Olin Gentry, agent signed the ticket for $280,000 for hip No. 88.
Consigned by Wavertree Stables, agent, the dark bay colt is the first foal out of Ascot Momma, a daughter of Purge who is a half-sister to multiple stakes winner Five Star Momma. Their dam, Momma In Law, is a full sister to graded stakes winner England’s Rose.
Fed Biz has been among the top freshman sires during the 2-year-old sales season, with an average of $151,984 and colts bringing up to $725,000 and fillies to $335,000.
