Xtrema became Exaggerator’s first multiple winner on Nov. 10 with a well-timed move for a 1 3/4-length win in a 7 1/2-furlong turf allowance at Indiana Grand.
The chestnut filly, who has now made five starts in at five different tracks, came from near the back of the pack with three furlongs to run to take command in the final sixteenth of a mile and secure the win.
Xtrema, who broke her maiden in her debut on a synthetic surface, is one of Exaggerator’s 12 winners from his first crop. She is owned by Big Chief Racing LLC, Rocker O Ranch and Keith Desormeaux, the latter also her trainer. These are also Exaggerator’s connections.
Bred by K. C. Garrett Farm, Xtrema is from the same family as the multiple graded stakes-winning mare Silent Eskimo.
