On the same day that Tiz the Law triumphed in the Travers S. (G1), Constitution’s undefeated filly Alexandria rolled to a nine-length victory in the $100,000 Miss Ohio S. at Thistledown.
The 2-year-old filly was bred by WinStar Farm LLC and Blazing Meadows Farm LLC and races for those connections along with Michael Lewis. Already a winner of the Tah Dah S., she is now a perfect 3-for-3 and has earned $117,960.
Alexandria was in hand early as she vied for the lead with Rebel Power and Gonnabegood for the first three furlongs. At the top of the stretch, she suddenly separated herself from the field and was going along easily as she hit the wire.
The winner is the second foal out of Spring Water and hails from the family of Fall Aspen, a Grade 1 winner and dam of an incredible eight graded winners.
