Constitution, whose first crop are yearlings of 2018, had a pair of juveniles bring six figures during the first session of the Aug. 11-12 Fasig-Tipton New York-bred Preferred Yearlings sale, topped by a $210,000 filly that went to Tracy Farmer.
Taylor Made Sales Agency was the consignor of hip No. 394. The gray/roan filly is out of the Indian Charlie mare Delightfully So, who is a half-sister to the Canadian champion 2-year-old filly Delightful Mary, as well as Ohio Derby (G2) winner Delightful Kiss and track record-setter Honour the Deputy.
Hip No. 311, consigned by Sequel New York, went to Jack Knowlton for $110,000. The bay colt’s dam, Tizfiz, won the San Gorgonio S. (G2) and is a full sister to Grade 3 winner Fury Kapcori.
Constitution has an additional four lots cataloged for Sunday’s closing session, which begins at 6:30 p.m. ET. He also will be represented by 69 individuals in the upcoming Keeneland September Yearling sale, which runs Sept. 10-23.
