Consigned by First Finds, the bay colt is out of the stakes winner Lunarlady, who is a half-sister to graded stakes winners Lunarpal and Astrology, as well as a full sister to stakes winner Lunargal.
Commissioner, who bred over 370 mares in his first two seasons combined, was a multiple graded stakes winner at four and also finished second in the Belmont S. (G1) at three.
