Bellamy Road filly continues winning ways

Sisterly Love, a 4-year-old Bellamy Road filly, is perfect after three starts following a front-runnning, 2 1/2-length score Sunday at Gulfstream Park. Sisterly Love is bred and owned by Kinsman Stable, who also campaigned her Grade 1-winning sire.

Bellamy Road is a top-20 third-crop sire this year, with five stakes winners, topped by Lexington S. (G3) winner All Squared Away. Bellamy Road will stand the 2013 at WinStar Farm for $20,000 LFS&N.

Sisterly Love led all the way in Sunday’s one mile second-level allowance on the main track. The bay Kentucky-bred turned back several challenges to prevail going away, getting the distance in 1:37.13.

Prior to her most recent win, Sisterly Love won an entry-level allowance at Gulfstream on Dec. 2 and broke her maiden in an 11 1/2-length runaway on Oct. 27 at Calder. She has now bankrolled $68,700.

Sisterly Love is out of Odylic, whose siblings include Metropolitan H. (G1) winner Dixie Brass and San Felipe S. (G2) winner Odyle.
