Leading First-Crop sire Overanalyze got his second career stakes winner on Saturday when Analyze the Odds won a thrilling four-way photo by a neck in the $216,875 New York Breeders’ Futurity S. at Finger Lakes racetrack (VIDEO).
Overanalyze has 20 first-crop winners and four stakes horses to date and is the only freshman sire with more than $1 million in progeny earnings.
Analyze the Odds was a debut winner at Aqueduct in April and is now a stakes winner following his last-to-first rally in the Finger Lakes stretch. The bay colt found his best stride in the final furlong to win the six furlong contest by a neck in 1:12.73.
Bred by Landsdowne Thoroughbreds and owned by Repole Stable, Analyze the Odds is now 2-0-1 in five starts and has earned $204,625.
