Tiznow’s Let’s Go Cheyenne leaves field in her wake in CCT and TCO Stakes at Del Mar

Let’s Go Cheyenne romped by 5 3/4-lengths in the $88,500 CTT and Thoroughbred Owners of California H. [VIDEO]Aug. 24 at Del Mar. The 4-year-old daughter of Tiznow led by as many as 12 lengths and was never really threatened at any point during the 11 furlongs.

A top-10 sire in three of the past five years, Tiznow is once again ranked in that group this year. His progeny have earned $4.77 million to date, led by Grade 1 Wood Memorial winner Gemologist.

Owned by Southern Comfort Stable and William Scott, Let’s Go Cheyenne returned from a layoff of 3 1/2 months in the CTT and TOC H. In her career, Let’s Go Cheyenne has won 3 of 9 starts and $160,910.

Trainer Vladimir Cerin said that Let’s Go Cheyenne will be pointed to the $250,000 Rodeo Drive S. (G1), formerly the Yellow Ribbon, at Santa Anita on Sept. 29.
