WinStar Farm is pleased to announce the return of its hugely popular interactive contest centered on the two top class days of racing offered by this years’ Breeders’ Cup at Churchill Downs, November 4 and 5. The contest will cater to both seasoned handicappers and race day fans alike. It will combine elements of truly challenging handicapping with the fun of picking winners in simple and innovative ways. The WinStar World Championship Challenge, promises once again to be the most fun, challenging and interactive contest in thoroughbred racing.
The World Championship Challenge features two divisions that each contestant must play in order to win. The first division will be a handicapper’s delight. Each contestant will pick the top four horses in each race on both days of the Breeders’ Cup. Points will be given based upon the actual winnings of the correct finishes picked.
The second division will be fun for even the casual thoroughbred-racing fan. Contestants get to make selections based upon the color of the winning horse’s saddlecloth, odd or even program number, the color of the winning horse itself, as well as some interesting horse-to-horse comparisons.
Fantastic prizes will be awarded to the winners of each division, each day. First prize shall be an invitation for the winner and a guest to attend the 2012 Breeders’ Cup at Santa Anita, California as the VIP guests of WinStar Farm.
