Distorted Humor mare keeps rolling in Japan

A Shin Cool D, the eighth million dollar earner for Distorted Humor, won her third stakes in her last four starts in Japan.on Aug. 25 when the gray or roan 5-year-old took a 1 1/8 mile contest over a muddy  track at Nakayama racecourse.

Distorted Humor is fourth on the 2011 North American sire list, with more than $5.24 million in progeny earnings. His 15 stakes winners is tops among all stallions. A Shin Cool D, who has now won $1,111,610 from a mark of 9-4-0 in 23 starts, is the leading earner on the year for her sire.

Bred in Kentucky by Winchester Farm, A Shin Cool D is out of Catalina, who is a half-sister to Santa Anita H. (G1) winner and $1.14 million earner Sir Beaufort.
