Top-10 First-Crop sire Exaggerator’s winners total now stands at 14 after No Exaggeration’s Dec. 16 maiden win at Fair Grounds.
The bay colt, owned by Charles Marquis, was able to rally from off the pace to win the 1 mile 70 yard contest by three-quarters of a length despite being at least three wide the entire trip.
Purchased by Marquis at the 2019 Keeneland September Yearling sale, No Exaggeration was bred in Kentucky by HomePride Farm. The colt’s dam is Grade 3-placed Starship Flare.
Exaggerator is now the sire of four stakes horses from his first crop after Color of Dawn and Xtrema both placed in the $100,000 My Trusty Cat S. on Dec. 1. Exaggerator is scheduled to stand the 2021 season at WinStar Farm for $15,000 S&N.
