Exaggerator filly debuts a 8 1/4-length winner

Expurgated’s blowout win Wednesday in her racing debut at Parx gave Exaggerator his seventh First-Crop winner and one of his most visually impressive to date.

The chestnut filly scored by 8 1/4-lengths in front-running style in the 5 1/2-furlong contest and was never threatened at any point while under a hand ride the entire trip.

Expurgated is her sire’s second winner of the week. He will have several chances to add to that total in the coming days, with four maidens and the winner Nutsie all scheduled to run.

Expurgated is owned by Joseph Besecker and was bred by Sally Andersen. She is from the immediate family of Grade 1 winners Mr Purple and Queens Court Queen.
