Fitz’s Mo prevailed in his maiden race on Sept. 10 at Gulfstream Park despite being three-wide the entire six furlongs.
The bay colt, bred by WinStar Farm, is the eighth winner for his sire, currently the third-most on the First-Crop sire list.
Fitz’s Mo, in post four, stalked in third and rallied resolutely in the stretch to win by a nose.
The winner is owned by Fitzroy Reid who purchased the colt out of this year’s OBS March 2-year-old sale from the Blazing Meadows Farm consignment.
