Tourist filly rolls to 7 1/2-length maiden special weight win

Woodbine Way went to the front and never looked back to break her maiden by a widening 7 1/2-lengths Aug. 4 at Presque Isle Downs.

The bay filly is the fourth winner for Tourist, all coming in maiden special weight races. He is tied for the top spot on the First-Crop Sire list by winners and is in the top five by progeny earnings.

Woodbine Way is owned by Emcee Stable LLC and Brian McKenzie and was bred in Kentucky by the Don Alberto Corporation. She is the first foal out of the stakes winner Lookout Sister, whose dam Traveling Alone is a half-sister to Belmont S. (G1) winner Union Rags.

Tourist’s first stakes runner will be on Sunday when Tourrista goes postward in the $100,000 Ellis Park Debutante S.
