First-Crop Sire and Grade 1 winner Daredevil had his top juvenile of the April 23-26 OBS Sale of 2-year-olds in Training on Friday when hip no. 1169 went for $205,000.
Consigned by Bobby Dodd, agent, the dark bay colt went to Sallusto and Albina, agent. The colt had breezed a quick :10 1/5 furlong at last weekend’s Under Tack show.
The New York-bred colt is out of Dorm Fever, who was a stakes winner at Saratoga, and his third dam Wisla placed in the Grade 1 Maskette S.
Daredevil is one of four WinStar stallions, along with Carpe Diem, Commissioner and Constitution, whose first crop are 2-year-olds of 2019. Daredevil’s first starter is entered in a Indiana Grand maiden special weight race on May 1st.
