The high-profile connections of The Three Amigos were the winning bidders for a Constitution filly during the first day of the April 23-26 OBS Spring Sale of 2-year-olds in Training.
Consigned by Altamira Stable LLC, agent, hip No. 62 is out of the Medaglia d’Oro mare Gold d’ Medaglia and comes from the direct family of graded stakes winners Sharrood and High Strike Zone.
Through Tuesday’s results, Constitution’s 2-year-olds have sold for an average of nearly 10 times his stud fee during the juvenile auction season. His first runners will soon be appearing on the racetrack, while he has approximately two dozen lots in the remaining three days of this week’s auction.
