Revolutionary heats up December

With three new winners in the first two weeks of December, Winstar Farm’s First-Crop sire Revolutionary has upped to his total to 13 on the year, which ranks fourth among all North American freshman sires.

After H. F. Carmel’s maiden special weight score on Dec. 4, Danz a Rebel got his first win in a 5 1/2-furlong maiden special weight contest on Dec. 9 at Laurel Park. The dark bay colt is owned by Dun Roamin Farm, Wire To Wire Stable and Lynch Racing, and was bred in Kentucky by Nancy Shulford.

On Dec. 14 Mac’s Revolution earned his diploma in a one-mile affair at Aqueduct, scoring easily by 2 1/2-length while leading the entire trip. A J and M Racing Stables homebred is from the same family as graded stakes winners Final Mesa and Uncle Camie.
