Revolutionary, a top-10 First-Crop sire of winners this year, got his 11th on Dec. 4 when the filly H. F. Carmel powered her way to a 9 1/2-length maiden special weight win going six furlongs.
After locked up in a duel for the first three furlongs, H. F. Carmel drew away from Ruby Two Shoes at will, leaving the field in her wake to win in hand.
Bred and owned by Dr. Harold Fishman, H. F. Carmel is out of the multiple stakes winner Flip Side and is a half-sister to stakes winner Flip Daddy.
Among Revolutionary’s winners this year is Maiden Beauty, who broke her maiden first time out in the $100,000 Lynbrook S. at Belmont Park. Classic-placed millionaire Revolutionary will stand at WinStar Farm in 2019 for $5,000 stands and nurses.
