First-crop sire Fed Biz chalked up two new winners on Sept. 22 when Absentee and Andyoushallreceive both broke their maidens, giving their sire a total of six winners for the year.
Absentee was a one-length winner in a $69,000 maiden special weight race at Parx. Making his debut in the six-furlong contest, Absentee broke from the inside and stayed on the fence until upper stretch, when he swung three-wide to eventually forge his way to the front in deep stretch (VIDEO).
Absentee was bred by his owner Colts Neck Stables.
Later in the afternoon, Andyoushallreceive also took her debut at six furlongs, winning by three-quarters of a length at Los Alamitos. Also bred by Colts Neck Stables, Andyoushallreceive is owned by Jay Em Ess Stables, who purchased the chestnut filly for $225,000 at the 2017 Keeneland September Yearling Sale.
