Mrs. Rembrandt was masterful in her March 10 maiden win at Laurel Park, sauntering home by 10 lengths on the one-mile affair for 3-year-old fillies.
Paynter was a top-10 First-Crop Sire last year and is once again among the leaders of this year’s Second-Crop Sire list. In the sales ring, his 2-year-olds have brought up to $425,000. He has nine lots in the March 13-14 OBS Two-year-olds in Training Sale.
Mrs. Rembrandt is owned by Harry Daut and was bred by WinStar Farm. Her dam Unbridled Ridge has produced four winners to date and is a sister to Grade 3 winner Puxa Saco.
