Ready to Confess struck the front in upper stretch and pulled away to a 2 3/4-length win in the $100,000 She’s All In S. Sunday at Remington Park, the first stakes victory for the 4-year-old More Than Ready filly.
After a pair of one turn races, Ready to Confess stretched out to a mile and 70 yards for Sunday’s contest. Breaking from post 7, she was hung three-wide into the first turn, but used her speed to be fourth, just two lengths off the lead, as the field made its way down the backstretch. Around the final bend, the bay filly moved for the lead without urging, then sprinted clear in the lane to finish the distance in 1:41.93 (VIDEO).
The Pin Oak Stable homebred upped her mark to 4-4-2 in 15 starts and has earned $355,462. Ready to Confess is out of Confessional, who counted the Frizette S. (G1) among her eight black type wins.
For More Than Ready, Ready to Confess is his 12th stakes winner this year, topped by Breeders’ Cup winners Roy H and Rushing Fall, both likely finalists for Eclipse Awards.
