Overanalyze got his 18th first-crop winner on Thursday at Kentucky Downs when Over Thinking overcame the far outside post to win a six-furlong, $135,000 maiden special weight contest for 2-year-old fillies.
Owned by her breeder G. Watts Humphrey, Jr., Over Thinking broke from post 12 and was hung three-wide around the sweeping turn, forging to the front with over a quarter-mile to run, then held off a big challenge from Storm Runner to win by a half-length (VIDEO).
Over Thinking is out of the stakes-placed Fusaichi Pegasus mare Morakami and from the same family as Grade 2 winner Love of Money.
Overanalyze’s 18 winners is six more than any other First-Crop sire, while his progeny earnings of $765,448 is nearly $200,000 ahead of his nearest competition.
