Haveyougoneaway found herself in the Remington Park winner’s circle following a convincing 4 ¼-length score in Sunday’s $50,000 Flashy Lady S. The win was the first stakes win for the daughter of Congrats, who had placed in several stakes races previously, including last year’s $200,000 Remington Park Oaks.
Haveyougoneaway found her best stride with about a quarter mile to run in Sunday’s six furlong contest, going four wide on the turn to prove much the best. The final time was 1:09.43, a little more than a second off the track record.
The winner improved her overall mark to 6-2-6 in 18 starts and has now earned $250,255. Bred by Andy and Susan Beadnell, Haveyougoneaway is owned by Champion Racing Stable.
Congrats is top-10 sire of winners in 2015 with 125 to date. He has had three stakes winners this month, pushing his progeny earnings past the $5 million mark.
