New winners, stakes horses for Hold Me Back

Top-10 Freshman Sire Hold Me Back garnered his sixth winner and first two stakes horses in a two-week span from August 2nd to 17th.

On Aug. 17th, Hold for More scored a facile five-length victory in a 5 1/2-furlong maiden special weight contest at Canterbury Park. The bay juvenile, who ran second in his debut on August 3rd, is a half-brother to three stakes winners, including $457,896 earner Beta Capo. Their dam Miners Mirage was also a stakes winner of more than $200,000.

On August 9th, Iknowsheknowsiknow was third by a neck and a head in the $40,000 Careless Navigator Overnight Stakes at Canterbury Park. The dark bay filly had broken her maiden in a June 6th maiden special weight at Canterbury.

And on August 2nd, Holdmesara ran second in the Silver Cup Filly Futurity at Arapahoe Downs. 

Hold Me Back ranks among the top 10 freshman sires, with progeny earnings of $165,829.
