Super Saver tops 2014 Juvenile Sire list

With two more winners over the weekend, highlighted by I Spent It’s huge score in the Grade 2 Saratoga Special on Sunday, Super Saver vaulted to the number-one spot on both the Juvenile Sire list and Freshman Sire list. The WinStar stallion has six winners to date, including a pair of stakes winners, and progeny earnings of $539,179.

I Spent It’s victory in Sunday’s feature took the headlines, but Super Saver’s big day started in Saratoga’s first race with Market Conduct’s six furlong maiden special weight victory in his debut (VIDEO).

Owned by Klaravich Stables and William H. Lawrence, Market Conduct picked up $43,800 for the victory. The bay juvenile was purchased for $100,000 at the Fasig-Tipton New York Preferred Yearlings sale in 2013.
