WinStar Farm’s yearling crew recently made their own coldwater challenge (see accompanying video) to Taylor Made Farms, joining in the viral sensation that has become an unofficial fund-raiser for charities.
On June 9, the WinStar crew staked their challenge to Taylor Made to join them in pledging their fundraising efforts to the Central Kentucky Riding for Hope (CKRH).
Located at the Kentucky Horse Park in Georgetown, the Central Kentucky Riding for Hope mission is dedicated to enriching the community by improving the quality of life and the health of children and adults with special physical, cognitive, emotional and social needs through therapeutic activities with the horse. More than a dozen WinStar employees took up the challenge and jumped into some rather chilly waters, the Taylor Made team took a different approach, with team members dumping cold buckets of water over their co-workers. The video of the Taylor Made challenge is available here on YouTube.
