Spring At Last juvenile colt I Got That Memo cruised to a 2 1/4-length victory in a maiden special weight at Woodbine on Sunday. Breaking out of the gate midpack, he was placed second-to-last in the first 1/4, ran to within a length of the lead by the 1/2 mile and pulled away under a hand ride in the 6 furlong turf race.
This first-time starter out of a Meadowlake mare was trained by Nicholas Gonzalez and ridden by Skye Chemetz for the ownership group Terra Racing Stable and Martha Gonzalez. The Kentucky May foal was bred by Allan Chappell, Lori Chappell & John Trumbulovic.
